About the role
We’re looking for a Senior Developer (Drupal) to deliver high-quality Drupal sites and applications. This is a hands-on Drupal development role with a focus on backend development (PHP), integrations, and site-building.
Key responsibilities
- Development of Drupal websites (PHP, custom modules, integrations, site-building), including testing, maintenance, and technical documentation.
- Define technical approaches that balance architecture, delivery constraints, and real-world project goals, while maintaining strong awareness of quality, risks, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other developers to clarify requirements, estimate work, communicate technical decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery processes.
What we’re looking for
- Senior web developer with 4+ years experience (commercial) delivering websites and applications, including substantial Drupal development.
- Strong Drupal development experience including PHP, custom module development, Drupal APIs, integrations, and site-building.
- Clear written and verbal communication, comfortable discussing technical concepts with both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Guides and supports other developers, providing practical oversight and mentoring within project delivery.
- Takes ownership of delivering, managing time, priorities, and momentum across assigned projects with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
Desirable (optional)
- Experience in a digital agency or consultancy environment.
- Javascript/React experience is a bonus but not required.
